Care for today.
Clarity for what’s next.

Health insurance starts with everyday questions: who you want to see, the care you may need, and what you could pay. Here’s a thoughtful place to begin.

Start with your care. Then look at the whole cost.

For Marketplace plans, the monthly premium is only part of the picture. Consider costs when you use care, the provider network, and prescription coverage together.

Premium
The payment that keeps a policy in place, usually paid monthly. You pay it even in months when you don’t use care.
Deductible
The amount you pay for certain covered services before your plan starts to share those costs. Some services may be covered before you meet it.
Copayment & coinsurance
A copayment is a set amount for a covered service. Coinsurance is a share of the cost, expressed as a percentage. Your plan explains when each applies.
Provider network
The doctors, hospitals, and other providers connected to a plan. Using a provider outside the network can cost more or may not be covered.

Good questions open
better conversations.

Can I keep the care team I know?

Check your doctors, specialists, and hospitals against the specific plan’s current provider directory. Ask about referrals and out-of-network care.

How are my prescriptions handled?

Check the plan’s drug list and pharmacy network. Ask about drug costs, coverage restrictions, and any approvals needed.

What could a year of care cost?

Ask to see premiums, deductibles, cost sharing, and the out-of-pocket limit together. Ask which costs don’t count toward that limit.

When would coverage begin?

Ask which enrollment rules apply, what information is needed, and when coverage would become effective.

One useful document to ask for

Ask for the Summary of Benefits and Coverage. Its standard format helps you compare key benefits, costs, and coverage examples. Read it alongside the full plan documents.

Bring what you have.
Leave room for questions.

You don’t need a perfect file or every answer. A few notes can help you make the most of a conversation.

  • Your current plan name and coverage documents, if you have them.
  • A private list of doctors, hospitals, and prescriptions you want to check.
  • A sense of your monthly budget and the care costs you want explained.
  • Any upcoming change in coverage, and the dates involved.

Keep these notes with you. This website does not collect your health or financial information.

Save a question checklist

You can start
right here.

“I’d like to understand how this plan fits my usual care, what I would pay, and what I should know before enrolling.”

Use this as a conversation starter with an insurance professional. Pristine Health Alliance is preparing to launch; offerings, availability, and consultation details will be confirmed before opening.
